The clan lives in Discord — that's where announcements, chat and the server bot are. Access to the Valheim channels is by a quick hello first, not automatic.

Getting in

Join with the link above and head to #👋🏻│welcome — Odin will greet you with two quick questions (are you 18 or over, and have you read the server guidelines?) and a button to answer. Most people are straight in; now and then an admin gives it a quick look first.
Once you're given the Valheim role, the rest opens up: you can read #📢│valheim-announcements (also mirrored on this site) and the server guidelines.
Run /valheimregister (or press the button on the oath panel) and give the bot your Steam profile link, vanity name, or SteamID. It shows you what it found before writing anything.
Run /valheimconnect to get the server address and password sent to you privately — it only answers members with the Valheim role.
/valheimstatus shows who's online right now; /valheimhelp lists everything else the bot can do.

What registering actually gets you

Registering links your Steam account to your Discord account, which is the only way the bot can tell whose hours, deaths and streaks are whose. Everything below follows from that. Your SteamID is never shown in any channel, on this site, or to anyone but the jarl.

The gold Valheim Viking role in the great hall, and a place on the roster — opt out any time with /valheimroster hide.
A rank that climbs with your hours — seven Norse titles from Húskarl at 10 hours to Ragnarök-Sworn at 500, each with its own colour on your name. Promotions are announced in Discord. Hours you played before registering count too.
Your own join card — an image and a one-line quote of your choosing, shown every time you connect (/valheimcard set).
Your full record — /valheimme: hours, visits, deaths, longest sit, day streak, the hour you usually log on, and how far you are up the ladder.
DM alerts, never channel pings — /valheimalerts add tells the bot to message you when the server wakes up, when a named friend logs on, or when it gets to N players. You choose; nothing is on by default.
A line in the saga — /valheimsaga tell carves what happened into the clan's own record, in the hall and on this site.
The Sunday leaderboard — hours, visits, longest sit and deaths for the week, posted in announcements. Registered vikings only.
Milestones as they land — personal bests, day streaks, death counts, and first light for whoever's on first each day.
The right to raise polls in the poll longhouse.
Passage through a locked gate — if the server is ever put on an allowlist, registered vikings walk straight in.
